About Owner
My name is Erika, and I have been working as a Senior Technical Recruiter and Sourcer in the tech industry since 2015, primarily based out of the Washington D.C. area but my expertise expands globally. I have a passion for connecting with people and assisting them in finding rewarding employment opportunities, making this career path a natural fit for me. Over time, I have come to realize that success in this field is more driven by skills and experience than formal degrees.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with numerous companies in the DMV area, where job prospects are abundant and opportunities arise swiftly for newcomers to the industry. Progressing swiftly as a Technical Recruiter and Sourcer, I have gained valuable experience working with the DOD, Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian Sector, but also commercial Tech companies as well, enabling me to learn and develop extensively. I have had the privilege of working with esteemed companies in both the tech and commercial sectors, including SAIC, General Dynamics, Alion Science and Technology, Google, Indeed, and more. I have a long history of working with and guiding transitioning military personnel into civilian contracting roles, leveraging my expertise to assist them in their career transitions. My role in this capacity has allowed me to witness firsthand the value that diverse backgrounds and experiences bring to the tech industry.
